Founded by young couple Melissa and Doug whilst they were still in their early twenties, this iconic brand is brimming with personality and passion. The company is greatly influenced by Doug’s fun-loving, outgoing personality and Melissa’s love for creative, imaginative play. In their own words the brand started with a boy, a girl and a dream – a few years after they set up their now world-famous toy company they were married, and they’ve expanded their partnership with children of their own and a business that continues to grow year on year. Passion and quality are at the heart of Melissa & Doug’s philosophy – feedback and testing are important, and the couple are personally involved throughout the design and manufacture process.
